Location: San Francisco

I am living in the San Francisco Bay area for the past 5 years.  I live  in an intentional community with  14 others.  We take time to care for each other and support each other in our lives.  At first it was overwhelming and I thought about moving for the first year I was here,  but then  I surrendered and have begun not only to see that there is something here for me,  but there is much that I can bring here, making this my home.   I have been learning more deeply what it means to have and be in a community.    Now we have begun to create projects in the world together.  Starting with our backyard:   last weekend we all got together and broke ground.  We are going to grow our own food!  wow!

I am in a course right now training as  a Permaculture Designer,  with the intention of helping to create a more sustainable planet and world,  by having more sustainable urban areas.  It is exciting to be here now.   Check out what we are doing with permaculture on the planet:  one example…go to “greening the desert”  on youtube and check it out.

Also I am a massage therapist.  I do this mainly right now for work.  I am blest with many regular  clients who see me consistenly.  I enjoy bringing healing and care to their lives.  I plan to continue this as an education as well as take on teaching yoga this summer.

In my spare time I love to play the harmonium and chant praises to the ever loving source of aliveness within everything.  It is called Kirtan.  You can check out the group that I give offerings with at Mirabaiandfriends.com  and I love Bikram yoga.  I also like to meditate, camp,  study nature, and deepen our understanding of  human evolution.
